West Australian Deaf Arts is an exciting initiative where Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing people come together to explore the Arts. We aim to share and pass on an understanding of Deaf culture to the Hearing world and we encourage people with no Arts background or experience, and those that have experience in the Arts and would like to share and grow their passion, to join us. WADA is a fantastic opportunity to explore your creativity and imagination in a supportive and inclusive environment.

We embrace both Deaf and Hearing people who are interested in all areas of Art including Costume, Choreography, Dance, Drama, Lighting, Media, Performing, Playwriting, Props, Scenery, Sound, Stage, Theatre, Visual Art or any creative areas.

Better Hearing Australia WA supports West Australian Deaf Arts, and our home base and Theatre for rehearsals and performances will be situated with Better Hearing Australia WA at the new Telethon Speech and Hearing campus in Wembley, which is expected to be completed by November 2012.

If you are interested in an opportunity to participate in the Arts through either performing, mentoring, volunteering your time, creating resources, or would simply like to support us, please contact us. We welcome all who would like to be a part of this exciting new project.
